Reverse Band Setup


Is there a relatively easy way to set this up? I just got my average bands and tried them out yesterday for squats. I just looped them through the top of the power rack. But the bands pretty much snatch up the bar. So I set the pins high up and put a 45lb plate on one side and quickly ran over to put the other one.

I was just wondering if there was a safer way to set it up.


Put a 45 on each side first. Then set the bands up.


Like pull the bands down after? Should the bands be inside the plates or outside of them?


Yes, pull the bands down.
I put the bands just inside of the collars.
This way you don't have to move the bands when you change plates.
