Is there a relatively easy way to set this up? I just got my average bands and tried them out yesterday for squats. I just looped them through the top of the power rack. But the bands pretty much snatch up the bar. So I set the pins high up and put a 45lb plate on one side and quickly ran over to put the other one.
I was just wondering if there was a safer way to set it up.
Put a 45 on each side first. Then set the bands up.
Like pull the bands down after? Should the bands be inside the plates or outside of them?
Yes, pull the bands down.I put the bands just inside of the collars.This way you don't have to move the bands when you change plates.
