im doing a 5x5 program...what would you recommend for rest time inbetween sets?? I have been doing 1:30-2:00...
I found 3 minutes worked well
I got by, and still do with 1 minute
A little longer for heavy squats and deads, a little less for presses and rows.
However long you feel will allow you to hit the reps with the same weight
For traditional 5x5 3 minutes. Worked well for me bulking up before.
