Rest Time Between Layers Sets



In regards to a layers workout, how much rest time do you allow -or think is optimal- between sets, during:
1) Top couple of singles during the ramp to max layer?
2) Cluster sets?
3) HDL sets (any difference with the different types of HDL?)?

Currently I'm running about 60-90 seconds for top ramp to max singles, about 120-150 seconds for the cluster sets, and about 150 seconds for the HDL layer. Is this ok? Or should I not worry too much and just rest long enough to 'make' the next set? I just wanna make sure I'm not resting too much or too little...


Just long enough to be able to perform optimally. It is an individual thing, but strive to take as little rest as possible without any drop in performance.
