Today, after my back work I did pinwheel curls rped
16x12x8, I ended up eith even numbers on failure. Should of I kept going until I was in the 1-2 rep range or how many times should I pause?
wicked pump btw

If you are doing DC style rest pauses that’s exactly how we do it… 3 failure points.
theres no set number. thats a high total for a RP set though most would go like 6-8,3-4,1-2 or something like that. i mean i like my total to be more moderate than high. try it with a heavier weight next time and see how it feels, compare it to last session and choose which you like better.

thanks, that’s kind of what I was going for.
What are pinwheel curls?
A hammer curl variant that is done cross the body upwards toward the chin.
Like you are taking something out of your right shorts pocket and putting it in a left breast pocket. Make sense?
haha so well explained scott
it all depends on how many sets

haha yeah, I’ve seen those done before as well but never tried them.
see…that’s how you explain an exercise, with a real like situation.
