Rest Days: How Important?

It’s not so much rest as it is sleep and proper nutrition although some mix up rest/sleep but they are two very different states. The only people that have the physical capacity to train 6 days a week and double-split on some of those days without OT are elite athletes and those on heavy cycles, pref both. 12-14 hours sleep a night with also do amazing things for your recovery abilities but as it’s been said 12 times there is no clear-cut answer. This is where periodization and instinctive training come into play.

i think its about how you feel. if you feel like shit w/o a lot of energy skip the gym for a day and rest. otherwise you should be good to go.
