So I make some oatmeal and let it cool to increase the resistant starch content before I eat it. Or, I make overnight oats and eat them cold. Or I eat the oats nice and hot to warm me up. In any case, don’t the oats get to body temperature and thus contain the same amount of resistant starch?
I learnt something new today. Yes, trained.
Re-heating does not undo the change that has already occurred. Hope that makes sense.
thanks. I guess I was overthinking this.
Just take a TBSP or 2 of Bob’s Red Mill unmodified potato starch. It’s almost pure resistant starch.
need to combine it with psyllium for it to be really effective.
Thanks tons. Trying to lower my fasting blood sugar. Makes me gassy!
