Quick question: What is people views of training with resistance bands for extra work?
For example, Say I train back&biceps in the morning, round about lunch time I will copy the same movements, I did at the gym with resistance bands. I originally started this sort of training to make the muscle I trained more sensitive to nutrients, to allow for quick recovery; but you see I seem to be noticing some good size gains from the training a strength.
I have been looking for research studies on resistance bands but not found many, I only found one say resistance bands are good for speed work, so I can only come to the conclusion that I am working the fast twitch fibers.
What are your views?
