Renegade hip problem/pop

While performing mobility training (i.e. hurdle excercises), my left hip pops. What should I do to correct this problem?

My does the same thing, all you can do is simply expand it’s range of motion. After working out really stretch it out so it’s loose enough to not pop. I had the same problem for two months till finally after many leg swings, and post workout stretching it’s gone.
