Remember, Remember the 2nd of November!

Just a thread to encourage my fellow conservatives to remember to rally the vote for this November! Obama was right, we need hope for change! and we can be the insturment of destruction for the leftist agenda.

So, let’s use this thread for updates on your local conservative candidates!

For additional inspiration, listen to V’s speech from V for Vendetta and try to tell me that that is not where we are headed, with enviromentalism as the faith and the leftist elites as the priest and anyone who disgarees with them should be punished and persecuted!

November will be a “test” for a lot of groups and people…both conservative and liberal.

Mufasa

agreed!

Careful now. I’m not sure it’s politically correct to talk bad about liberals.

Some of us don’t care.

Ok, then I’m in good company. I personally consider myself more of a moderate, but if I had to choose sides I would take conservative over liberal any day.

If I were to ever get a microphone, or put on TV for some reason, God help the media. Someone come bail me out, because I am about to run my mouth.

The problem with moderates is lower testosterone levels.

Know why?

Straddlin’ the fence crushes the balls.[/quote]

Well, I like to hear both sides of the argument before I make up my mind. You can call me moderate or whatever. I usually take the conservative side but not always.

Was just messin with you.

I know. Us moderates can take that. After all that ball crushing we can take anything

Hey BB - based on the little bit of your posts I have read, I imagine that more than likely you probably fall as a moderate between a more traditional liberalism and conservatism, not between modern leftist liberalism and neo-conservatism. This distinctions are important if we are going to win the war of ideologies.

Moderates, like yourself, need to realize that they are much farther right than the current crop of leftists hiding under the liberal banner. Left and right in this nation is not between Socialism and Facisim - they are the sides of the same coin - but between less government action and more government action WITHIN the constitutional restrictions.

Sorry if I am not making myself clear - arguing with idiots is wearing on the brain . . .

yes, yes! that is the answer rally around the other side of the same coin cause that has totally worked and the other party has totally done this country right. If we could just go back to the prevailing ideology/party that was in place for the last 8 years all would be right!

Sheesh, give up the two party nonsense and stop voting for the same career politician hacks in either party, start voting en masse for people from other parties and break the 2 party monopoly that makes people think they don’t have much choice, then you will have real change.

don’t think I mentioned anything about political parties, did I? unless I am typing in my sleep again and am actually sitting in cubicle butt-naked. . .hmmm tis a bit drafty . . . nope - defintely awake and not naked, much to my disappointment

destruction for the leftist agenda.
updates on your local conservative candidates!

man how could i misconstrue that one?

by confusing socialists for democrat and conservative for republican . . . parties represent parties. I was speaking of ideological principles.

People have some wacky ideas about political parties in the US - While it is true that conservatism has been best Represented by Republican candidates, the Republican party leadership and most of the current politicians can hardly be called strict social, economic and political conservatives.

On the flip side, leftists/statists/socialists have hijacked the Democrat party, but that does not make the rank and file Democrat a card-carrying member of the Socialist Workers of America.

Good point, I’ll take that

I hope you will enjoy what will be your slightly larger minority.

Arguing with idiots? You haven’t become Glen Beck have you? I think I get what you’re saying. I would probably consider myself more of a classic conservative. I pretty much think that there should be as little government as possible.

I really can’t stand the modern take that so many people have that it’s the government’s job to fix everything: obesity, health care, prayer in school, etc. Basically it’s just fix my problems because I don’t want to.

THIS! I read your whole post, but after this line I was sold.
