Two years ago, I dislocated my hip squatting. I’ve finally gotten to the point where I can do squats again, but my hip is not operating at full capacity (it’s still a bit loose). In my last session I aggravated it as my knee went inside as opposed to staying out.
Is there anything I can do the get back to full capacity…or close (short of surgery…no thank you), or should I leave squats alone altogether?
I currently do at parallel or slightly below and I let my glutes and hamstrings be my guide. I currently do thigh abductors and adductors, quad extensions, leg curls and donkey kicks.
