Regime/Regimen/Regiment Word Choice Quibble

I’ve noticed these words are often used interchangeably and it kind of bothers me. Please feel free to correct these:

Regime: a system or method of action, particularly a government. This word also seems to have become popular versus the word “regimen” since the term “Regime Change” came to the news.

Regimen: a course of treatment, particularly in medicine, but also training or exercise

Regiment: to strictly organize or plan something, or a military unit.

What do you think?
