Reducing Quad Involvment w/ Knee Wraps

Hey guys. Does it make sense to overload the hips during exercies by reducing quad invovlment via knee wraps??

You’re asking if it makes sense to use knee wraps I guess? Use whatever your fed allows.

for training purposes…

I prefer to squat with knee wraps, when I don’t my knees get really achy. For myself it does not feel safe but that is just me. Right now i have a legiment problem with my knee from going really heavy on some leg press, fortunitly i had the knee wraps, idk what would have happened.

but im trying to find out…like how wearing a slingshot for bench press relies more on tris…will wearing knee wraps make you use more glutes?

Train how you compete.

Are you strong enough to worry about the 0.00038432892% difference a slight training tweak will cause?

ok than… no knee wraps…

i’d like to disagree with this, you can squat an additional 50+ pounds wrapped vs no wraps which may or may not be a good way to overload based on your program.
