Reducing Protein Intake on Reverse Diet


I have recently finished a cut, where I haven't adjusted my protein down from 230g to my new weight. I plan on limited weight gain (maybe 5 lbs in the next year, if things work out), so I don't think I need to keep my protein intake this high.

That being said, how do I implement this reduction while reverse dieting? Should I do a normal reverse diet and decrease the protein once I get my consumption up to normal or start reducing protein slowly with the reverse diet, increasing the carbs and fat even more aggressively to compensate?
