Red Beans and...

Does anyone know what other beans or veggies might compliment red beans to make a complete protien or are red beans already complete?

All beans contain incomplete protein. You can combine red beans with rice to make complete protein.

Just out of curiosity, why are you asking this question?

I’m using TC’s Chanko recipe in my current mass diet and I was thinking of subing in some red beans in place or along side the tuna…since the recipe also has rice and corn then I guess the protien bases get covered…also it’s nice to have a different source of protien every now and then besides the usual shakes, tuna, chicken, meat, fish, etc.

Happy bulking.

In order to complete the protein, you should combine beans with either nuts/ seeds or grains.

Any two of these three groups combined will complete the protein.
