A month or so back I was very sick for a few weeks with a really bad virus, and was bed-bound. It’s now 3-4 weeks after I’ve been back on my feet, but in this whole period I’ve dropped a stone in weight (now I’m 115lbs.) I’ve lost any muscle I’ve had, and there is literally no fat whatsoever on me. I’m trying to put the weight back on, but my doctor told me not to lift weights and my parents also won’t let me go to the gym (When I asked my parents how much weight I had to gain before I could go back, they said they wanted me at 140lbs.)
Does this mean that any weight I gain is just gonna be fat? I know I have to gain weight for my health’s sake (115lbs at 19 and 5ft 10 ain’t good…) but don’t want to gain just fat- Any advice guys??
