I’m trying to bulk. The fiance’s trying to lose weight. Question is…we do weight training three days a week. If we do HIIT in pre or post training isn’t that overtraining? And if it is would n’t doing HIIT training on our off weight days conflict with muscle recovery? We both want a cardio workut as well but want to achieve our seperate goals as well.
Cardio and bulking are like oil and water.
I don’t know you personally, you may be a serious endomorph but most people skip almost all the cardio in a bulking phase.
Unless you lay down fat really badly, I’d skip cardio. Not seeing your abs isn’t the end of the world.
It does suck though.
