Ready to Be Trained!

I worked hard. But I’ve always followed the same BB routine. 3-4 exercises, 3-4 sets, 6-12 reps. 1 bodypart per week. Yes, it’s worked for a while. Coming though what I’ve came through, I just feel like I have so much more potential, so much more “in the tank”. Dedication is not a question. Right now I get up at 4am and am i the gym by 4:30. After overcoming alcoholism. of which I was the worst of the worst, I feel like my body can be an inspiration to so many people. I have heard of and understand so many of the recent programs posted on here “layer system, boring but big, etc.” but I am a guy who needs something in writing. Someone to say, “Do this on day 1, this on day 2, etc.” [/quote]

It sounds like you need to hire a coach, right?

If I had the money, yes! I was hoping to hear from guys that have more experience than me though. Look. With my background, I have dreams of someday helping others in their quest for a better life, a better physique. I’m on a mission to get the best one I can right now.

Hers a pic from a few years back. Big change

Yuck

Didn’t work.

Guess it did

I hope some others will coach you for free and I commend you for turning your life around. I had to turn mine around at one point and so did some of my family members who struggled with alcoholism and gambling. It’s no joke trying to get rid of a vice. Bro, you know what to do, I believe. Use your logic, analysis, and creativity.

You ain’t kiddin bro! Kickin that was WAY harder than any workout I’ve ever done. If you’ve never been through it than you’d have no idea. I guess I just view my body as a vessel to show other people what I came from and it IS my testimony!! So I want it to be the best that it can be. I guess I get so caught up in one bodypart per week, TBT, layer system, push/pull/legs, all the splits out there. I want the best, but I guess the best one is the one you TOTALLY commit to. I dunno. Just looking for opinions!

You’ll get tons of opinions on what works best. It comes down to you picking one that fits your life and goals right now and one you are excited to do. The. Stick to it for the length of it. Evaluate after. Then try something new or stick with it for another round

Any opinions on what’s worked best for you in the recent months ryan??

As far as supplementation, anyone tried Plazma? I usually use Finibar pre workout. I would love to try Plazma but would have to give up my shakes throughout the day. Is it worth it? If so, I’ll change. I’m tellin ya, i want the best bang for my buck.

I’ve been doing a JM style push pull legs split. Love it. High volume and decent frequency. He has lots of training articles and a program on here for download.

Ryan, what does your supp regimen look like?

Whey protein during a workout.

Thats it??

I prefer to spend my money on fruits and veggies and eat my calories and nutrients rather than supplement them.

^This…a thousand times over. There is so much money to be spent on supplements. On cost/benefit you could justify creatine, but otherwise it’s nice to have a bigger food budget to prevent boredom.

Love comments like this…sure perpetuates the lovely reputation this forum has round the net. Dude even posted pics showing he’s got a good build too.

What are you implying? Like I said, just because I joined 11 yrs. ago doesn’t mean I followed the entire time or held fast to the principles of the site.
