Reactive Strength for Vertical Leap

What are optimal levels to be aiming at for depth jump height vs standing vertical jump height?

Obviously if my standing vert. is the same or higher as my depth jump from an 18inch box, reactive strength is weak.

Just thought you might have some %'s to shoot for before refocusing on the strength component of the jump.

Any thoughts?

hmmm, i am curious about this as well.

if your standing jump is higher than your depth jump you should probably work on altitude landings before progressing to depth jumps

Yeah, I will do so in future.
I found some cool stuff on Kelly Baggett’s site on how to start with basic stuff like bounds and hops and then progress to more advanced stuff.

I just used a depth jump as a test…
