Raw Eggs in Protein Smoothies

Just wanted to let anyone thinking about trying this know, there’s no noticeable difference after throwing eggs in and blending them up. Maybe just a little smoother than normal.

My normal smoothie:
1 cup frozen blueberries
couple ice cubes
1 spoonful peanut butter
2 tbsp ground flax seed
2 scoops cytogainer

I threw four eggs in this morning to test how it would be, and there is no difference between that one and the one I made for my girlfriend with the same recipe but no eggs. Just, like i mentioned, maybe a bit smoother.

So if you’ve been thinking about trying it but have been wondering what its like, there you go.


I’ve been doing this for a few weeks. Love it. Also, I throw in some spinach. Makes it a nasty green color, but I like the taste.

Ive always wondered about this…

Ive wondered if after throwing in an egg… can you add oil without it forming “clumps/pools/spots” of oil??? Due to the whole egg fat emulsifier thing…

I have eggs and EVOO in the same shake everyday, no worries

does it make it taste any diff? i hate chugging raw eggs cos they almost make me hurl. though i do lie advocat, does anyone know how much protein per litre in that stuff?
