Egg yolks are an extremely good source of biotin.
Saying that, I stopped drinking raw egg whites. I now separate them, and just do raw egg yolks in my shakes.
Mercola used to be a big fan of raw eggs, but he actually wrote a retraction because it was proven that it was almost impossible to get enough biotin to counteract the deficiency caused by avidin.
hmm interesting. I just gathered from what I read that if your diet was lacking from other sources of biotin, you just put yourself at a high risk of getting a low or high case of biotin deficiency.
I often eat 8 egg yolks a day. I cook the whites with my ground beef.
