I’m posting a link to my FitDay nutrition journal. I haven’t been updating every day, that’s why you’ll see the days jump around.
For a quick background, I weight about 152 lbs, I’ve been following some concepts which I read in John Berardi’s “Scrawny 2 Brawny”. His book had a nifty formula for calculating daily caloric needs, and it recommended a Carb/Protein/Fat split of 50/30/20 for bulking.
I’m a bit confused because I read an excellent article by Coach Thib on Carb Cycling, but when I used his formulas, I came out with a lower carb requirement than what I’m actually eating now. I’ve been following my current diet for about 8 weeks, and coupled with Rippetoe’s Starting Strength routine, I’ve gained about 9 lbs with minimal fat increase.
