Ok I decided to start a log in here if for nothing else so I can look at any progress or failures etc. I got great responses from my fight thread and hopefully I can get more here and possibly help others with my training too.
Going back in time here to the begining of the week. I am on an off schedule at the moment so I can do more weight training. Next week will look different for sure though. For those of you who don’t know I have had a couple of MMA fights and other amateur bouts as well. I am currently training for MMA I would say Kickboxing/Jiu jitsu focus though I did Krav Maga for 2 years and Karate for sometime.
Monday October 29th
5/3/1 Overhead press day one week three big but boring.
Overhead press 5 sets of 10 reps at 55
5 sets of 10rep pull ups.
Working on Late shift this week so lifted in the morning and went to NoGi jiu jitsu after work.
Worked on Americana submission from guard , side mount etc and the defenses. 20minutes of open rolling.
Wed. Oct. 31st
5/3/1 Dead lift week 3 day2
110 x 5
Dead lift 5 sets of 10 at 135
Weighted sit up 3 sets of 20 at 45
Still on Late shift. No weights Went to class
Worked on guard passes and defenses
Kimura submission and escapes
Free rolling 30minutes.
