lol. thing is, I bet he’s a bit heavier than normal, so we’ll see what that does to his strength gains when he cuts weight for competition.

I bet he could set a new C&J record if he moved up to 105+

So a while back I posted a link to a polish documentary on how the olympic weightlifters were training in the 60’s… I found another vid of them training weightlifting.

Their technical precision just blows me away…
Like machines. Every single rep just the same…

Those slow negative clean pulls were freaky…

This is from facebook but I can’t find a youtube link. If anyone has a youtube link for this video please share! Pic is from the video.

this?

check out that youtube user, crackyflipside. He’s got other great slow-mo vids with great tech stuff.

Awesome thanks Andy! I’ve been to Crackyflipside’s channel before I should have thought to check there.

damn, he jerked that FAST after he cleaned it. must have been late for a meeting or something, lol.

OL is interesting to watch at times, it is such a popular sport outside of the USA and competed and a very high level in many many countries, it attracts the best talent.

every now and then, a guy like this, who does not necessarily look the part (like a jacked up muscle guy) shows up who is just plain talented at this sport, and can lift monster weights but not look very impressive as far a physique goes.

Zhang Guozheng after retiring. Not much lifting shown but still quite interesting imo.
