I had no intent to baffle you nor use big words. Perhaps your son inherited his learning difficulty. But I think the disagreement here is over the word “genius”. To your way of thinking a genius can be someone like Rainman. But to my way of thinking if someone can’t read words let alone books then they obviously don’t have even a passable general knowledge.
