R.I.P. America 1776 - 2012

America voted for failure yesterday.

That was the touchstone of the end.

To my country…you will live on in my memory. Thank you for everything you have given me. I am sorry that the jackals finally consumed you. You will always be in my heart.

Goodbye, my country…goodbye…

Soooo

Are you killing yourself or moving somewhere else? Or both?

In what order?

The side who has lost the election has said this since the beginning of elections. The butthurt from the losing side is always amusing. It was hilarious when the left cried in 2004 and it is hilarious now with the tears of the right.

I bet you don’t move, and I bet your life doesn’t change significantly. After all Romney was essentially Obama anyways on everything that really mattered. Would it help if I went back to 2004 when your team won and showed you death of America posts from the losing team?

What an overly dramatic thread title, jeez…

What was the debt in 2004? The unemployment rate? Do you know what an exponential function is?

I have a small place in the country, water off a well, propane with an attached house generator, 20 acres of good farmland. Its attached to an orchard that I partly own.

Every day, I will raise the flag of my country, and remember.

Headhunter living up to infamously sensationalist threads :stuck_out_tongue:

Don’t worry Mr. Hunter. I think it was probably inevitable either way. At the end of the day whether they’re conservative or liberal or something else, politicians are always politicians. I think we were eventually doomed regardless of who the president is or who controls the congress or senate. No one is ever going to do what needs to be done.

Why so sad? The Unions won!

The unemployment rate and debt would be the exact same if Romney was elected last night. Our unemployment rate has been MUCH higher before and we have been arguing if our debt is too high since the beginning of the national debt. Not saying these aren’t problems, but it isn’t as if Romney had a good plan to eliminate both immediately by any means. No matter who won last night it was going to be a good day for the status quo.

You’re being a little emotional crybaby because your team lost which is the problem with cheering on a party like its a team. You probably would chastise Obama fans today if Romney won but instead you’re boo hooing your poor fortune.

In 2010, the elections renewed my hope in the country. Maybe people have seen the pure evil of socialism and communism.

Then the people resume their stupid ways, wanting handouts and hiring scum to rob as legalised looters.

This is why I am despondent. You should be too…your future is now at the hands of people who consume more than they produce. They want you. They are moral and economic cannibals.

Welcome to the cannibal USA!

I’m Latino…I WAS on the fence, we lean Conservative, but Romney didn’t “speak” to us,
didn’t reach out to us, didn’t come to ONE of our areas to inspire, etc.
You ignored our Demographic, and we said ‘Fuck you’…you reject the Largest Minority
in The U.S. outnumbering African Americans by Far, and we will reject you.

What if he had picked Marco Rubio as his VP would you have had a different attitude or no? I’m just curious.

It’s not quite gone yet HH cheer up. The republicans picked up seats in Congress and John Boehnr is still Speaker Of The House. What the people said in essence is both of you go back to the way you were and hammer out a deal. Theoretically, the two parties could sit down and actually pound out a deal which would reduce the debt. Also, by shear chance (as Obama’s policies have not helped at all) our economy could start to pick up speed.

Also, before you know it two years will fly by and we’ll have mid-term elections. If things are going that badly you know the people will rise up and replace the lefties in the Senate with more conservative folks.

I would not be playing taps yet HH, there’s still hope.

There is still hope.

But then again I am naturally an optimist.

I guarantee I can find an exact same thread title with 2010 substituted for 2012 when Obamacare was passed. We managed to make it another 2 years. Tombstones don’t look as nice when you have to cross the dates out.

“What if he had picked Marco Rubio as his VP would you have had a different attitude or no? I’m just curious.”

It would have put the Finger on the Scale for sure, for me anyway, at the same time Rubio was
crystal clear it wasn’t his time yet, and I can respect that.

Bingo. And I’m in California where my vote doesn’t count anyway which makes it even worse.

Bullshit. Romney knew you were in the tank for Obama. Obama supported the Dream Act so he had you. He didn’t do anything about immigration other than put on that farce, and you bought.

Romney spoke to AMERICANS, not tribes. Obama appealed to tribes, got the tribes to vote his way.

Romney appealed to you as Americans. You rejected him because he didn’t pander to your tribe.

Obama has done nothing for any of these tribes anyway, and he won’t.

LOL I feel like I have to break things down in simple terms to some of the people on here.

But come on man, do you not feel the thread title is a weee bit over-dramatic, especially considering the exact same “OMG WE ALL GONNA DIE” shit was being screamed from the rooftops a mere 2 years ago? LOL
