“Quote me as saying that that Imperial bastard will never set foot in Louisiana, and that when I call him a son of a bitch I am not using profanity, but am referring to the circumstances of his birth.”

Don’t you think that’s a bit deliberately nebulous? You know one of those things that on the surface appears deep but in reality is just nonsensical?

No. It would appear to be so out of context, but it’s quite far from the case. These quotes, actually enumerated theses, are excerpted from a mid-20th century analysis of, partially, commodity fetishism and the then-current predominant stage of capitalist production, which constituted the accession of the irresponsibly sovereign market economy to the level of an egregiously hegemonic autocracy governing the entire field of commodity production. Dated analyses, yes, but still quite relevant to the current state of affairs in countries dominated by modern modes of production.
dmaddox wrote:

Could Graham just mean Liberal/Socialist/Communist Jews.
Could Hitler? It was classic Nazi propaganda to blame Jews for both Communism and the evils of capitalism. It an extention of an idea that dates back to The Protocols of Zion claiming the Jews were responsible for the French Revolution.

How can Jews be responsible for both Communism and Capitalism? They are polar opposites. I was under the impression that Nazi’s blamed Jews for the Treaty of Versilles that caused hyperinflation and Germany’s economy to erode. I am thinking Hitler blamed the Jews, in general, for everything that was going wrong in the country. Graham’s quote did no such thing.

Ah I see. Actually in context they do make a lot more sense.

Exactly. But it worked. Goebbell’s said that the Jews dragged us into one war(WWI) and are now dragging us into another. It doesn’t have to make any sense.

“[I]n the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire together in the art of lying.”

â??Adolf Hitler , Mein Kampf, vol. I, ch. X

Yes they did. They blamed everything on an “international Jewish conspiracy” and often alleged that the Jews were aligned with the Freemasons. This concept of mixing anti-Semitic and Freemason conspiracy dates back the Protocols of Zion.

Graham invoked ancient blood libels about the collective Jew “controlling” the media and so on. And I wasn’t comparing Graham to Hitler, I was just making a point about anti-Semitism.

The entire subject on Jews is without doubt the confounding issue on the
Planet…who can understand?
People love them, people hate them…Hollywood Elites are crowded with them, but so are Synagogues…IDK.
I wish there was an exhaustively researched modern, present day book that talks the truth about them,
their ways, their various beliefs in Business and Religion, and just cut through all the horseshit and
controversy about these Globally loved or hated people…but there seems to be none,
So the extremely complex, confusing, and nebulus worldwide Jewish enigma remains.
I’ve never gotten easy answers anyway on Jews, even from Christians who have been Christians
for a very, very long time, different opinions on them FROM them, waltzing around that
complex issue all the time…Karado don’t waltz.
Very very good D. I still love Fanny Crosby’s famous quote when asked by a reporter at the end of her life how she could write so many hymns of love for a God that in causing her to be born blind had deprived her of all the beautiful sights of the world. She replied. “But you don’t understand. The very first thing I will ever see is His face.” Oh indeed dear sister Fanny. “For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known.” 1st Corinthians 13:12
