Hey ko, I was wondering if you have any good recipees for a meatsauce to put on some spagetti or other noodle. I made a sauce before and blended it up cuz i hate chunks of tomatoes for some reason, but it made the sauce way thin. Is there anything i can do to thicken it up? Anyways, if you respond with a recipee, I am a big garlic fan.
Put the sauce back on the stove, and let it reduce till you get the desired consistency. Heres a quick one:
3 12oz cans tomatoes peeled, and diced
one onion, diced
3 cloves garlic,minced(more if you like)
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp oregano
2 bay leaves
A touch of cayenne
2 TB apple cider or red wine vinegar
In a sauce pan, sweat onions and garlic. Add remaining ingredients, bring to a boil, and reuce to a simmer. Cook for 30 minutes, then puree. Return to sauce pan, and if needed, reduce. Season with salt and pepper.
