Question on Recovery

Hey all, I just recently sprained my ankle and pushed through it for about 5 days and started to really fuck it up, so now I’m basicly restricted to the couch and walking with a crutch for at lest a week. What I am trying to figure out is how long and often should I be icing the ankle? And when able to get back into the gym is there anything I can do to strengthn it so this wont happen again seeing at work I’m always rolling my ankles? Thankx


Ask your doctor man. But ice is your friend, ice it as much as you can, especially if it’s still swolen. But other than that, professional advise is best. Hope it gets better soon.
