Question about Sheiko

Hi, I’m trying the sheiko #29 routine and I’ve a question, what’s the purpose of an order like:

1 day:

  • bench press
  • squat
  • bench press (again)
  • flat dumbbells, etc

why doing that squat in the middle of the press, why not doing the benchs all in one set

The program was designed to be split up in the day. Ideally you would bench and squat in the AM, and bench and DB flies in the PM.

You can do it all in one session though. You just have to man up.

Also, the squats are a “break” to allow a little recovery for another set of sets of bench.

I did 29 for a while and never broke it up into 2 workouts a day. It’s hard, but worth it.
