Question About My Split

I posted this question in the article replies but have received no reply so I was hoping someone else might be able to help me.

How many sets should you be performing for each exercise on the upper/lower split?

I know that for the maximum hypertrophy emphasis that CT specifies 6-8 reps range for day 1 and 8-12 reps for day 2. However, I can’t find a set guide in the article. What would you recommend?

Depends what are you doing?? what kind of loads, exercises, how many exercises, goals, etc etc…


As Phil said, it depends heavily on the other parameters.

As a rule of thumb, you should aim for a total of 25-30 repetitions per exercise.
