I’m currently doing the second 3 week phase of Ian Kings limping series. He has a “quad” dominant workout and a “hip” dominant workout that should be alternated for a period of about 3 weeks. My workout split is as follows:
Monday: legs-quad dominant
Thursday: legs-hip dominant
Friday: Chest,Back and Shoulders (low volume)
My problem is that my glutes get very sore after Monday’s quad dominant workout (from deep squats I believe). They are usually still a bit sore on Thursday when I’m supposed to be hitting them hard!
Should my ass not be sore after Monday’s workout??!!
I’m gonna wait until Friday morning this week to do the hip dominant workout and push chest,back and shoulders to Saturday morning.
