Quarter Squat vs Deadlift for Developing Speed

Hi Christian,

I have read that quarter squats are better for developing sprinting speed and vertical jump than full depth squats. Your article on squat depth affirms this idea. My question is, how different are quarter depth Anderson squats vs deadlifts for developing speed? Would you include both in a speed program? Also would you include full depth squats in a program designed to develop speed?
