Quality protein for the road

#1

Gonna be on the road for 3 days, and was wondering what protein sources I can take with me (that can last that long). Only thing I could think of was canned tuna (no meet jerkies available here). Any suggestions?

A few I can think of is dry your own jerky overnight. Bring along cheese it stays good for quite some time. Canned sources = salmon, crab, shrimp, etc. Try to find things that arent to processed but you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes. Protein pdr. is always an option. Nuts and seeds.

Hope that helps.

For me, I love canned herring as it tastes better than tuna and has 11g of good fats. It comes in a pull-tab metal tin so you don't need to bring a can opener, plus it's cheaper than tuna per can, at least up here in good 'ol Canada it is...
