I hurt my left knee during a soccer match, kicking too many goal kicks.
The pain is located in the upper part of the patella, and I can feel it only when I bend my knee… When squatting, the pain is worse in the ecccentric phase of the movement. I had a MRI and been diagnosed with quadriceps tendinosis (it is a cronicised tendonitis). The web is full of conflicting informations and I really don’t know what to do. My doctor told me to rest, but I rested for weeks and the pain got worse… Anyone here had the same problem? Can you give me some tips to try to fix this annoying pain?
