I developed some quadriceps tendonitis in my knees from doing a HF squat program for longer than I should have. Resting the quad from doing any extension movement seems to be the best bet for me the next week or so.
My question is if that means I can do some conventional deadlifts instead? Has anyone dealt with similar tendonitis and found deadlifting still allowed them to heal?
I’m leaning towards erring on the side of caution and just doing hip hinging movements like thrusts, bridges, and swings, which might actually be good for me since I do have significant APT and weak glutes.
