PWO Meal Timing

Hey every body. My question concerns the whole food PWO meal. I’ve read a few, slightly different suggestions, but I tend to stick to a 45 minute - 90 minute time frame. Is 45 minute not enough time. If so, then why?

Not enough time for what? To wait before eating after your workout? You can eat anytime after your workout. I have a serving of Surge immediately PWO and eat a real, full meal 60-90 minutes later.

I agree with bikemike for what? A postworkout drink like Surge immediately upon finishing and then a whole food meal anywhere from an hour to two later.

If you are in a mass gaining phase whole food meal should still have plenty of carbs with protein if cutting then it should be high in protein lower in carbs.

I meant, is their any particular reason I should wait until an hour after finishing my Surge. If so, why one hour? Why not half an hour?

This is what Dave draper basically mentioned in one of his articles. Drink a protien drink right after workout. Drink another one 45-1 hour later (about the time it takes the body to fully digest the protein). Then 45-1hour later eat a solid meal.

[Note: This is not exactly word for word but I think you will get the point.]

Thanks, Dragon.
