I hope i’m in the right forum section, but my question is those of you who like to do cardio Post Workout, do you consume your PWO shake before or after your cardio session??
The answer will and should always be: AFTER
Doing cardio immediately PWO just seems like a bad idea IMO, go a different time of day.
Its fine to do a short cardio session after your workout. Such as 20 mintues this will help your body to burn fat because your ATP and Carbs are already used up and your body is forced to use Fat as fuel.
If you intake the PWO shake before you do cardio you defeat the purpose cause then you will only burn the carbs you just took in. Try not to go over 20 min though cause your muscles will be starving for protein and carbs.
