The fat would slow the absorbtion of the protein. Since we require a fast spike in blood aminos to maximally trigger/support MPS, then yes, IMO it would negatively affect MPS.

Dunno, why would people cut their shakes with milk? Seems pretty daft to use milk in a shake (or at all), seeing as dairy is pro-inflammatory and has little to offer the cognizant trainee.
