Maybe this has been addressed before, but it is it necessary or advantageous to use a PW-shake on cardio only days? I’m doing a low-carb diet right now, so I’ve been wondering if the extra carbs are a no-no or necessary.
Lone Star Man, I believe I asked my man JB the same question, and his response that a specific post-workout shake was not necessary after a cardio-only session. I imagine this depends on the duration of the session, as JB recently mentioned that his endurance athletes use Surge also. So, unless you’re running marathons or cycling long-distance, you’re good-to-go without one of them bad boys…eat some real food!
