Went to Golden Corral for Thanksgiving feast. Got there just after it opened, so no problem with crowds. Stuffed myself, then back home. Usually do bench work on Thursdays, but had planned to do that tomorrow. Turned out after a few hours I felt fine, so went in anyway. Had to rush since they closed early. Weird.

Been eating and sleeping pretty heavy. Weight’s up about 5 pounds in the past 4 months. Set a squat PR today.

for the life of me, I just don’t know why I can’t get past 265. This was a max rep, felt like my eyeballs were popping out of my head. Five years ago I did 275 at the meet and for all this work has just made no progress at all. Strength building is just really, really slow.

last set tried bringing legs behind me instead of in front, seems to work. Legs in front make me want to bring them up which counters the chinning motion.
