Sorry if this is a dumb question but would doing heavy weighted pushups as part of a superset with incline db press say in the 6-8 rep range be good for hypertrophy and strength? I have always done pushups but usually on off days or at the end of chest day.
Of course it would. Over load for the win!
But imo, you’d be better off doing inc DB pr to the extent that normal push ups are difficult to do, then shooting for 6-12 normal push ups. It’s less hassle and more wastage. But whatever floats your boats.
Supersets are always good, unless you’re doing them exclusively or are following an unbalanced program.
