Push-ups Soreness

This isn’t exactly an injury per-se, but more of a soreness-related question. When doing high rep pushups, does anyone else experience soreness the next day in their anterior delts? I know the anterior delts are recruited during pushing exercises, just not sure if I need to alter my form. Thanks

You’re fine, that’s pretty normal. At the bottom position of the push-up, where you’re dealing with the greatest proportion of your bodyweight, anterior delts have the best mechanical advantage
