Just a quick question.
When doing press ups is it best to do a lot of them or not so many?
I do 10 per set for three sets, with good if not perfect form.
But I do see a lot of people who do 50 - 100 press ups or people that claim to.
Is it more beneficial to do them the way I do or how the other people do - for gaining strength?
It all depends on what your goals are. I’m a raider so I have to pass a test that requires more endurance, I do sets of 70-100.
The effect will all depend on two things
- Your Goals
- You Body
I would say though, Endurance is the way to go if you like to push.
