Pumpkin Seeds, Phytoestrogens??

do pumpkin seeds contain phytoestrogens??
i wanna add pumpkin seed into my diet on a daily base…i have heard its full of zinc,mg and stuff

but i think i have also heard that pumpkin seed include in the foods that contains phytoestrogens with soy, sesame …
is that true? or bullshit???

tnx

It is fairly high in Secoisolariciresinol and Matairesinol but nothing like flax. If you worry too much about this stuff you will be avoiding too many healthy foods. Avoid the soy products and use a mild amount of flax and you should be doing good enough, without worrying about the minutia. Avoiding this stuff from your diet completely, like anything, is also unhealthy. If it make you feel better Mike Roussell likes pumpkin.

I don’t know if I’d eat it daily. Variety is a good thing, too.
