Pull-Down Machine and GHR

Could I do ghr’s using the cushions on the lat pulldown machine?

I don’t think that will work.
Try using a decline bench. Adjust it so that the bench is parrallel to the floor.

I have seen it performed that way before. There is a video on youtube somewhere. Just make sure that your ankles are locked into position and there is plenty of room for your knees on the pad.

Thank you very much, that is a great idea.

You can do them this way, but it’s not the same as doing it on a bench. If you have nothing else, it’s okay, but doing them on a legit GHR bench is definitely a way different movement and superior (IMO) once you get stronger and/or heavier.

       I agree, IMO, you only need make one mistake and your knee could be deadly fucked up...just a thought... I think I'll stick to stiff leg deads, romanian deads and leg curls.
