Prowler: Pyramid Sets or Straight Sets

How do most of you load your Prowler. Do you pyramid the weight each trip or do straight sets across with the same weight.

Is there an advantage of one over the other?

I pyramid the weight and sometimes I also vary the distance.
Though going too heavy causes my IT bands to get tight; I assume it is too much overload on the quads. By “too heavy” I mean short, 10 yard pushes that are hard to finish.
The Prowler is very underrated in my opinion.
