Proteins VS Aminos

As far as I know proteins are made of aminoacids.
Now I was in this store the other day and I was checking many jars of proteins, then I noticed they also sell aminoacids in different packages/pills/powders etc etc…

Why ? It’s the same thing with different names or what ?
What am I missing ?

Where have you heard this??!?

lol.

The amino acids that you see being sold separately are the ones that may or may not have advantages in higher dosages. For example, Leucine is sold separately (here on the site) and was determined that it is the most anabolic of all the amino’s. Hence, supplementing more of it into your diet (on top of the leucine you get from the protein u eat) can lead to increased benefits.
