OP - Have you taken any kind of prohormone, legal or not? M1T or the like? Anything methlyated will throw your liver values up for a few weeks after you cease taking them.
Also, mild to moderate strain, sprain, (also including car crash and also hard core workouts) or other injury can elevate alt and ast temporarily.
In any case, follow the below advice:
Clean up your diet for a few weeks (obviosly no prohormones), by cutting out all sugars. Include healthy veggies for your carb source.
After step 1, get retested. You’re probably fine.
If still elevated (but only slighly as before), repeat step 1, but for a period of 6 weeks, and then repeat step 2.
If you had to go to step 3 and are still elevated, consult a “kidnie” (haha I mean liver) specialist.

I had a random blood test done a year ago for insurance purposes that spawned a boatload of tests as my liver counts were through the roof. I got the “steroid” questions and people giving me the look like “sure, he’s on them, but won’t tell us”. I was taking some Tribulus, which he thought may be the cause of this.
I cleaned up my diet for 3 months, dropped all supps, and quit drinking (was having a beer every couple nights) and it did lower my counts, but they were at the high end of normal.
My doctor wasn’t too worried about it, as he said some folks just have higher than average liver counts and I’m still within the normal range (I was literally bouncing on the line).
To rule everything out and give me some piece of mind, he sent me in for an ultrasound and discovered a gallstone the size of a golfball. It’s never bothered me whatsoever and up till then, I never knew I had one. He mentioned that gallstones tend to raise your liver counts and if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Did you ever get an ultrasound?
Do you drink?
I’d get a second opinion if it really bothers you and suggest a referral to an internist or whatever they’re called. They can do a liver biopsy and get to the bottom of it if need be.
