Protein Shakes on Days Off?

Should you take them on days you don’t lift?

I find that first thing in the morning and last thing at night is a good time to take shakes. They are also good any time you can’t get meat into your meal.

I take one for breakfast

One pre workout

One post workout

Should I still take all 3 on off days?

Just to clarify:

Would a mixture like Metabolic Drive be a good PWO choice? I am guessing no since it contains both whey and casein, and the casein will slow down the whey absorption.

Surge would be an example of a good PWO, while Metabolic Drive would be a meal replacement, correct?
