Wasn't sure if this was best suited to the beginner section, this section or the dumb question section, I hope I got the right one haha.
Ok so before recently, I used to have a Whey shake 30mins before my workout and immediately after it. As of last week, I've started doing some HIIT at the end of my normal workout because I thought that going 2 years without doing an ounce of cardio was fucking ridiculous. This brought me to my post workout shake problem. Would it be wise to take it after the weights then hit the cardio or after I have done both? I don't know an awful lot about nutrition so I'm not sure if timing it wrong would make the shake a waste and not be used for what is desired. Maybe it would be better to do the cardio then the weights then the shake?
If anyone could shed any light on this probably quite unnecessary mind fuck of mine, I'd be very appreciative.
